UNIT 1: INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT WORD
AIM: HOW WILL I SEARCH FOR INFORMATION ONLINE?
STANDARDS: ELA: RESEARCH
TASK: Students will research the biographical data about a famous black American. Use of a template will help them organize their research.
Step 1: In Gmail, there are 2 template documents attached to a new message. Learn to open them.
Step 2: Print out the 2 documents.
Step 3: Use Google to research information about your selected subject.
Step 4: Use the template to collect information that
is lacking. You can either write or type into it.
Step 5: Use the information collected in the template to complete the assignment; writing the essay about your character using the ELA rubric as a guide.
